Few wedding gifts for ex-Kitten
Ex-Atomic Kitten performer Kerry Katona is unlikely to have received many wedding gifts as she is said to have tied the knot with more bouncers than guests.
The Sun says that Katona, 26, had six minders, but only two friends as witnesses and husband Mark Croft's mother in the Gretna Green chapel.
Unlike pals of fellow pop singer Cheryl Tweedy, Katona's friends were not stuck for gift ideas as the ceremony was so low-key that they weren't invited, bar the photographers present from a magazine.
A source told the tabloid: "There were security guys with earpieces shielding Kerry with umbrellas. You'd have thought they were guarding the Queen."
One of the "security guys" added: "They’ve got married and will probably head home in a couple of hours."
Katona married Croft, 35, a taxi driver, at 20:30 GMT and emerged just 35 minutes later, the report adds.
