Care for the Wild International were established in 1984 with the aim of protecting, defending and rescuing endangered species around the World. One of the ways CWI raise funds and educate the public is through their adopt an animal scheme.
Badgers are much loved creatures in the UK, yet they face many dangers as increased housing and traffic threaten their habitats and lives. These shy nocturnal creatures also suffer at the hands of badger baiters and also our own government who are killing thousands of these creatures in an experiment relating to TB in cattle.
CWI help fund the care of baby badger cubs, at Follies Rescue Centre in Kent, whose mothers have been killed by one means or another. The centre bottle feed, wean, love and nurture the cubs until they can be returned to the wild.
A perfect gift for animal lovers they will receive a certificate of adoption, sticker, fact sheet, a 6 month up date and a cuddly badger.
