Observe a fascinating living colony on your desktop! The Antworks Ant House is a fully self contained space age environment specially for ants. Watch your very own ants dig a myriad of tunnels through the gel and build their colony, and turn on the 4 bright blue illuminators to highlight the tunnels and watch them at night!

Antworks is based on a 2003 NASA Space Shuttle experiment to study animal life in space and see how the ants tunnelled in micro-gravity. The gel inside the Antworks is non toxic and contains all the necessary nutrients for the ants to consume. Therefore you will never need to feed them! The Antworks is great for a relaxing desktop prop or for educational fun as you watch the ants' architecture evolve.

Hello, was just wondering, if they eat all the gel, what happens when it runs out?

I love this. I bought it for my niece, who is thirteen, and she thinks it's great. So much fun watching the little ants make their tunnels. The illuminator is an excellent add-on too, it looks amazing especially at night. Easy to set up as well. Great Christmas gift!
