In today’s world everyone is worried about the climate, and rightly so. Whether it’s buying an electric car, or picking up litter; there is something all of us can do to help. If you want to do something simple, look no further than the “Eco Button.” The Eco Button is a power saving device that works by switching your computer into an “eco mode” which cuts your power consumption. Anytime you’re away from the PC you just need to press the cute little button, and it will cut your power down to 1.8 watts
When you come back from your break, just press the button again and your PC will wake back up. The Eco Button will also show you how much money you’ve saved on our electric bill, and how much CO2 you have kept out of the environment. It gives you those statistics when you turn the PC back on, and it keeps a running tally of all the stats since you’ve installed the button!

I was delighted to get this as a birthday prezzy from my son and his girlfriend as I was about to buy one for myself. It's so simple to use and I save money and my carbon footprint which is displayed on the screen when you power up again. Clever! Highly recommended.

Really the perfect gift for a PC user - fun to use - clever technology - and saves time. Oh! I almost forgot - it helps save our precious planet too!!
In operation it sits quietly on the desk connected via USB. It pulses a soft green colour.
When you want to leave your PC - be it for five minutes or five hours - just give it a single click and it puts your PC to sleep. Fan off - screen off - saving money and carbon emissions!!
When you return to your PC just press again, (in my case I click the 'on' button on my PC), and - Hey Presto! your PC comes to life displaying how much cash and Carbon you have saved today and to date!! And it does that immediately too.
So if - like me - you get fed up waiting for your PC to load - dont turn it off - simply put it to sleep with Eco Button!!
