How do you use the Giant Cupcake Tin?
It’s extremely simple! Just take the following steps:
- Fill both sides of the cake tin with cake mix. If you don't have a recipe then you can use ours below
- Bake in the oven until cooked
- Turn out and cool
- Once cooled assemble the top and bottom cake halves with a thin layer of icing
- Add some imaginative decoration. Be creative! The more exuberant the better! Don't forget - send forget to send us your photos
- Eat
- Lots!
Chocolate Pound Cake Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 teaspoons instant coffee
- 1/2 cup boiling water
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup brown sugar firmly packed
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 4 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups butter softened
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup mini semisweet chocolate chips
Chocolate Pound Cake Instructions:
- Depending on your oven, preheat it to 325°F or 190c or gas mark 5
- Grease and flour the tin to prepare your giant cupcake pan
- In a small bowl, dissolve the instant coffee in water; stir in the cocoa powder and mix well together. Set aside to cool
- Stir together the flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt; set aside
- In large bowl, beat the butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar with (preferably with an electric mixer) until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs, one at a time. Add vanilla and mix well
- Combine the cocoa mixture and the sour cream. Add the flour mixture alternately with the sour cream mixture, beginning and ending with flour mixture, beating after each addition until smooth. Fold in the chocolate chips
- Spoon 4 1/2 cups batter into top of cupcake pan; spoon remaining batter into bottom of pan
- Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a knife or toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Cool the cake in a pan on a wire rack for 15 minutes. Turn the cake onto wire rack to cool it completely
- To assemble the cupcake ice top of the cakes bottom half. Place top half of cake atop iced bottom half
- Decorate as desired

I was under the impression that this was going to be a Wilton tin judging by the description nad Wilton video underneath, but I was disappointed as it was a cheap version which I have returned.

My daughter loved the chocolate giant cup cake I made which we covered with her favourite icing and sweets.

I bought this tin as I got fed up with hiring one out from the cake shop. It was a fantastic buy! The cakes come out perfectly as it really is non-stick despite the detail of the shape. I have also made sponge cakes (5 egg mix) in it but love the chocolate pound cake recipe that comes with it. Also looks good if you just make the bottom half and ice as a fairy cake. Competitively priced and excellent service from Prezzybox too - what's not to like :)

I purchased this Giant Cupcake Tin as I am currently obsessed with cupcake baking! But also because, my Brother is getting married next year and his bride to be wants cupcakes as part of her wedding cake and a giant one as the topper. I had fun baking this for the first time and know that I will get self satisfaction as I practice and practice - Great Purchase and brillant value for money!!

I love anything cupcake related and often bake regular-sized cupcakes, so when I saw this tin I knew I had to have it!
I used my regular sponge mixture (as opposed to the American recipe on the box) and found the tin required more mixture than I had anticipated. Second time was a charm though, I simply used twice as much in both halves of the tin. (For those that use a basic sponge recipe use 8oz of everything and 4 eggs for each half.)
The cake was easily removed from the tin and once finished it looks fantastic! I used chocolate sponge on the bottom half to avoid having to decorate the base and covered the top in buttercream and sprinkles...a little more buttercream between the two halves ensured the giant cupcake remained in one piece.
I baked this for a colleague's birthday cake and shes was so impressed she even took photos and put them on Facebook! Needless to say I was thrilled with the end result and would highly recommend this product. : )

I bought this for my son's fiancee as a birthday present. She is an absolute cakeaholic and upon opening it she said ''Oh my god, my life is now complete!'' The cakes she has made so far are gorgeous and she says it is really easy to use and clean. Someone just needs to produce a giant cupcake recipe book now!

This is a brilliant cake tin, since purchasing it I've made over a dozen cakes. It really has the wow factor! Buy one, make the cake and wait for the compliments!
Some helpful hints, grease the pan really well - invest in the cake release oil, cover the cooking cake part way through as due to the cake pan depth they cook at different rates. Buy a cake leveler to top off the cakes whilst they cool in the pan (makes it easier to put them onto a cooling rack).
Decorate and let your imagination run wild, I've used chocolate biscuit fingers and stuck them around the base of the cake to make it look like a cupcake wrapper. Enjoy!

I bought this for doing the cake for my daughter's birthday as she loves cupcakes. As you can see she loves chocolate and all things girlie, it was a hit. A number of people have subsequently borrowed the tin to try and asked where I bought it.

This is a great cake tin. I made my first cake for work and it was a massive hit, I have lots more orders for cakes to make. I had to cook the 2 pieces separately and ensure that it was very well greased. :)

I bought one of these fantastic cake tins to make my 7 year old's birthday cake. The cake looks fantastic decorated with chocolate icing, silver balls and jumbo pink smarties. I had to make 2, one for home and one for school. Since then many of the mum's have enquired as to how I managed to make such a creation.
This is one product which literally does as it says on the tin !!

I love the Wilton Giant Cupcake Tin its so easy to make a fabulous looking cake with very little effort. My children just cant get enough of these great cakes and I'm already planning my Halloween and Christmas cakes aswell as birthday cakes for my girls. Watch this space pics to follow!!

This caketin has proved a massive hit when I have used it for work colleagues or mates. I was also impressed by how sturdy the design was, I´ve not had a cake go wrong yet and there´s no faff of greasproof paper to line it with& it washes really well too. Top buy! :-)
