Hands On Evening Sail for One
Description
This experience is perfect for any first time sailors or if you need to perfect your skills. You will feel like the captain of the 36ft yacht sailing in the evening on the Solent. During the experience your skipper will show you the basics and then you will take turns behind the wheel with other people on board.

The yacht departs in Hamble, Hampshire (South)
Itinerary:
Once you arrive at the location you will have a safety briefing with your skipper for the evening and introduced to the basics of sailing. Once you head out to sea you will be hands on with everyone on board taking it in turns at the wheel. You will learn new skills or brush up on your sailing skills or you can just sit back and relax in the cockpit. All drinks while on board are included and you safety equipment is provided. Don't worry you don't have to have any experience in sailing and non swimmers are also welcome. The experience day lastes from 5.30pm until around 7.30pm.
Extra Information:
You will receive a voucher that is valid for 10 months and the experience must be pre-booked. The activity is available on selected Wednesday and Saturday evenings during the main season which is 1st May – 31st. All booked are subject to availability and sailing may be cancelled or curtailed if there are severe weather conditions. It is recommended that you call the centre before you set off for your experience to ensure everything is ok. When you take part there will be other participants and there could be up to 7 other people taken part plus the skipper. You are more than welcome to bring friends and family to wave you off at the Marina but sadly they won’t be able to come on board. You need to dress warmly and casually and bring extra layers in case the temperature drops. You must be over aged 16 or over and a maximum weight of 20 stone.
