This is definitely a great buy if you're wanting to please an eager sports fanatic. It is light and compact, yet the quality isn't hindered. For the price it is definitely worth it, most other helmet camera's range between £100 and £300, albeit they are a lot more advanced. However, the sound and image quality for this product is great consdering the price and size. My advice would be to ensure the helmet you're wishing to use it on is compatible (some can be tricky to attach given their shape and dimensions), as well as ensuring the camera is fastened well. Maybe try using it riding around the garden on your bike, or even walking before using it on the ski slopes to get the right angle! My highlight was watching the footage after a toddler had used it!

For those of you looking for a simple but effective way of capturing those precious video moments, this camera is ideal.
Its lightweight compactness makes it perfect for carrying around and the simple controls will ensure that you enjoy the moment you're recording, rather than fiddling about with complicated technical features.
An 8gb SD memory card (approx £15) stored all our videos from a week on the ski slopes, and it was easily downloaded to our PC. Filmed in daylight, the sound and picture quality were more than adequate.
As there's no display monitor, it's advisable to have a practise run before filming an important event. Knowing what the lens is pointing at isn't that easy when it's strapped to your head!
