The greatest little instrument of the century is back! This year sees the re-launch of the Stylophone! It has now been sympathetically reproduced with the original design in mind – even down to the packaging. The Stylophone retains all the features from 1969 but with up-to-date technology, making it even more fun to make your own music!
Working directly with the original inventors, the updated Stylophone now has three new sounds as well as retaining the much-loved classic, with a vibrato option on all. Also new is the MP3 feature, which means it is now possible to play along to your favourite tune. The headphone socket/speaker unit enables you to either play on the move in silence or indeed share your music with friends, plus the volume control means you can now vary the sound level!
This little pocket rocket sold over 3 million from 1969 to 1975 and was endorsed by the one and only Rolf Harris. It became an immediate cult hit, even appearing in David Bowie’s hit track “Space Oddity” and has most recently appeared on the back of The Ministry of Sound annual, it has even been used by Orbital! There really is no better gift. This is an instrument that anyone can play and everyone loves!
