Now, we have the perfect solution to making frozen drinks. This 1950’s style Retro Slush Maker from Giles and Posner has been designed so that you can make Slushies in your very own kitchen.
You can wow friends and family with frozen Slushie treats, whether it’s at a barbecue, a party or simply because... you fancy sharing the slush with everyone!
You can follow the recipe ideas or get creative and make your own concoction of flavours.
Making a Slushie is easy. All you have to do is use crushed ice or small ice cubes, add a small amount of water and your favourite fruit juice. Then watch the Retro Slush Maker work its magic as it blends the ingredients and serves you a refreshing drink via the dispenser.
The Retro Slush Maker is a great gadget for any kitchen and will make scrumptious fruity drinks for kids and adults too!
Please note:
- Start each new batch of slushies with 200 grams of rock salt and fresh new ice
- Slush Syrups can be used as long as they are not water based
- Full sugar drinks must be used, not diet or sugar free
- Cordials can be used as long as they are used neat and are not sugar free

Arrived quickly and what a lovely surprise something that does exactly what it says it will do.made perfect slush puppies just like the shop ones..not as noisy as I expected from reading reviews.and very easy to clean ..just throw in soapy water in the sink...kids love it ..wife made white wine lemonade spritzer.. slush for a lush I say. Well pleased with purchase..only problem every kid who comes round begs for one ...

A good buy. The only negatives - its noisy and takes quite a while to freeze the drinks but a good experience and certainly comes out like a slush drink!

I have ALWAYS wanted one of these :) I was a child of the 80’s so I grew up loving the Slush Puppies!!
The concept is great, it was simple to use and the final result was AWESOME. However… it is rather noisy, which would be fine if the slush process was quick, but it’s not. You have to listen to that noise for a good 30 minutes.
The white plastic cage that clips onto the aluminium cylinder is very flimsy, one of my clips snapped off straight away so I feel like that could have been made better.
The overall style of the machine is fab; the red colouring is really nice so the machine looks great out on display.
I don’t think that it’s worth £50 and I definitely would not pay over that for it. I would say more like £35-£40.

Its AMAZING!!
arrived 2 days after ordering, box slightly bashed up and i suspect this had been owned previously and returned as there were one or 2 marks on the machine...HOWEVER....
It does exactly what it says on the tin. takes only 10 mins to make a refreshing slushie!! bit noisy but its worth it. it was a gift for my GF and she loves it. 5 ouy of 5!!!!

Some people have said it's noisy - it's not too bad and the results are SOOOO worth it. Kids and I are loving it ;o)

i bought the slush puppie maker and i never regreted it at all it makes really nice slush puppies and keeps me nice and cool on really warm days exept it does need alote of ice cube (24!)
and if you are thinking of buying this product i really do recoend it so buy it :)

This product is excellent for keeping cool on hot days. We keep the syrup (bought on ebay) in the fridge so it freezes quicker and requires less ice. It is noisy, but it freezes in no time so the noise really isn't a bother and the outcome is worth it. Haven't have had any problems with it at all, except running out of ice, which isn't the machines fault :D
We highly recommend this to friends. :D

that you come across something that actually does what it states....and this does it perfectly!!
ive wanted a slushy machine from beign a child so when i came across this i just had to have one...i was a little dubious on ifit would actually work as it said but even on the 1st try it produced a slush that would give slush puppys a run for there money. reallyy easy to use...and quick easy to clean. does use alot of ice cubes so stock up and salt also. the only problem i do have with it is the lid..everytime i open it im scared it will break as its a little tricky to get off...some reviews have mentioned that itis really loud while on but i dont agree,a little noisy but not as exspected..have made vimto..cola..ribena slushys so far and all have turned out but i would suggest useing more along the lines of vimto and ribena style dilute as itis more concentrate wich produces a thicker slush.definatly recommend . service from prezzy box was fantastic also...came with 48hrs well packaged.excellent

as i am 10 weeks pregnant i have craved ice/icelollys/slushes. this product has fullfilled my cravings. it is the best thing EVER!!!!! also a must for parties, everone wants to lend it. the only down side is it could be bigger!!!!!!

The metal canister didn't leak salt into the slushie mixture.
I LOVE Slushies so was happy to part with my hard earned cash.Slushie maker arrived, pretty big & gastly looking, makes a fair bit of noise & requires alot of salt & ice. That said, worth it for a slushie....
First three attempts, the mixture tasted of salt! Then worked out this was due to a hole in the cannister - waste of time & mixture!
Prezzy Box were really good, got a new cannister from the supplier sent to me... Worked great! Fresh fruit juice slush the best! Took it to a BBQ this weekend - with all the required bits & peices - A hole had appeared in the canister AGAIN! I can only conclude that the salt mixture is corroding the metal, so this is a heads up for anyone that finds it tastes of salt. Third cannister on it's way so we shall see....

If you like slush ice drinks you will love this. It really does work you need to use sugar drinks diet ones dont work. I love mango juice slushies and pineapple with a dash of malibu added after. Easy to clean, people say they are noisy not really. My kids were using my blender to smash ice for slushies so googled slush makers and found this one the best googling i have done. Get one ordered for the summer. Looking forward to using it at xmas too.

I too was a little sceptical about this product...but WOW!!! it's FAB.
Easy to follow instructions,and easy to operate and clean.
A little tip I would give to anyone thinking of buying this is too stock up on ice (I've also got an ice maker) as soon as you've placed your order because you'll be overcome by the sudden urge to try EVERTHING!!!..
I've found the best cordials to use are the more concentrated sort...maybe a bit pricier,but worth it for the extra fruity effect....oh...and definitely add the booze after....Cassis ar Framboise are excellent as is the Vodka,Malibu,Southern Comfort,Tia Maria etc...

I was a bit unsure about this to start off with having had novelty items like this before (candy floss machine, mr frosty, etc) and none of them ever worked properly.
Its really easy to set up, a few tablespoons of sugar, half a cup of water and A LOT of ice cubes (24!!) in the middle section, then your drink in the outside, we used two cans of cola. It took about 15 minutes and was quite noisy, but eventually we had 3 large glasses of Cola Slush!!!
Next we are going to try some fruit juices and some proper slush syrup. Well worth buying, and unlike the other gadgets, will get used rather than gathering dust at the back of the cupboard!
