Description
Sky Lanterns are based on a traditional Thai festival when people would gather to light the lanterns together and watch any misfortune they may encounter fly away with the lanterns. The lanterns also symbolise wishes and people would often write their wishes on the lantern and watch them float up to the heavens to hopefully be answered.
The Sky Lanterns are perfect for celebrations including, weddings, birthdays, Halloween, New Year, Bonfire Night and Diwali. The lanterns will burn for approximately 20 minutes and can climb up to a mile in the sky. At this point the lanterns are still visible and look like a magical light floating across a sky of good fortune.
The Sky Lanterns are made from bio-degradable materials with a bamboo frame a replenishable wood. The lanterns are flame retardant and are safe and simple to use. The glowing display from a group of lanterns is a quite and peaceful alternative to a firework display.
Safety instructions:
- Not suitable for use by children under 16
- Only use in open spaces and not near to buildings
- Only use in very calm conditions
- Do not use near anything that may catch fire, such as dry crops or woodland
- Never use near airports, under flight paths, near pylons or overhead cables
- This product is not a toy and should not be used by children
- Keep a fire extinguisher or bucket of water nearby
- Do not use if you are under the influence of alcohol
- Do not tie anything or add any weight at all to the lantern

I loved these. Lit them at Christmas & new year - remembering 2 very special people. They were a fantastic show, lasted for ages & could be seen a very long way off Brilliant!

Bought the set and decided to launch one with a friend at Christmas. Packet already fully assembled so no work was needed. A tip to unfolding the lantern so it expands is to just drag it sideways in the air and it easily opens!
The fuel cell lights very easily and within 30 second the lantern is ready to fly. I let go as soon as it could carry its weight, that way it takes off slowly, otherwise the lantern flies too quickly to enjoy!
Flies for such a huge distance, until out of sight!
This is an excellent product and will buy again!

The lanterns were a fantastic gift and so easy to use. They worked incredibly well and were visiblle for a very long time. We used ours over xmas - birthdays and new year. If very careful messages can be written on ballon in felt tip too.

I saw these being used at the recent bonfire night celebrations. They were fantastic! We could see them for miles and my 3 year old daughter was most intrigued! Definitely worth using.

These are a Great feture to add to any party. The way they just float into the sky and can be seen as they float away is great. It's even better we you have about 50 of them going up at once!!!!!!!
