The instrument of the century is back! 2011 sees the re-launch of the Stylophone!
It has been re-designed keeping all the classic features but with up-to-date technology making the playing experience even greater!
Since working with the original inventors 3 new sounds have been added to the much loved classics. We have added the new and improved mp3 feature, this allows you to "jam" along to your favourite tunes or share your music with your friends.
The new volume control has also been added, where you can vary the sound level! However if you prefer to keep your music to yourself there is a headphone feature not only allowing you to play to yourself but you can also play on the move.
This amazing piece of kit sold over 3 million from 1969 to 1975 and this was without our new features. When it came onto the scene it immediately became a must have and was even featured in David Bowie's hit track "Space Oddity." This gift is an instrument that anyone can play and everyone will love!

I'm reserving judgement on this one, it looks the part, and I've bought it as a gift so what I think is less important than what the recipient thinks. Be warned, you will need to fit batteries not supplied, and it also require a headphone or similar to get it going, I was a bit disappointed that as I dont have these I felt like I was passing on an imcomplete gift and have a nagging doubt it may not work. However, it looks the part, and I think it wont disappoint, would have been helpful to me if description of product had been more explicit that these batteries and headphones are required and possibly given the option of adding these items to order at point of buying. Nevertheless, fairly priced, well packaged and an imaginative item - dont expect my nephew will get two for his 21st brithday!

I never had one of these when I was a kid, but envied my mates who did. Then I discovered David Bowie and this device took on a whole new aspect. As an utter non-musician, I have nonetheless had endless hours of fun with my stylophone and can play proper tunes on it. The sound is so evocatively sixties, retro but still 'space age'. (Space age meant futuristic in those days, little did we know it would come to mean old fashioned!). Great for very young children too, as they get immediate reward for their efforts. I can't praise this little instrument too much! Get one now!!

it's the best little plaything ever!
when I bought mine the kids pounced on it before I had got it unpacked
I didn't get a shot all night
they still havn't tired of it yet weeks later
I now need to stealth stylo =/
