Triops or Triops longicaudatus to give them their full name are freshwater shrimps dating back to the time of the dinosaurs. These fascinating creatures hatch within 24 hours and then nearly double in size everyday and what's more they then lay their own eggs and the whole life cycle starts again.
Triop World comes complete with everything you need to bring your Triops to life, just add water. Along with your Triops other creatures you can also expect to hatch are Fairy and Clam shrimp as well as Daphnia, giving a complete biological World.

If you know anyone who likes dinosaurs or watching time team etc then they'll love this.
Full instructions of how to grow these 'creatures' is included.
I'm not really a fish or dinosaur person but even I couldn't wait to see what they really looked like when hatched.
