In an environmentally conscious world, plastic bag has become a dirty word. We all have good intentions of using our reusable bags when we do our weekly shop, but how many people get to the checkout and realise they've forgotten them or not taken enough?
The Trolley-Dolley is the solution to this problem, never again will you find yourself whispering to the cashier that you need a plastic carrier bag, while fellow shoppers tut at your lack of concern for the environment.
It may look just like any other bag, but the Trolley-Dolley is in fact stuffed full of handy re-usable bags for your trip to the supermarket. Inside are 6 vest style carrier bags, 2 shoulder bags, 2 short handled carrier bags, and 10 fruit & veg net bags with closing cord fasteners (these are below the tare weight used by supermarkets, meaning you can weigh your fruit and veg in them). The long handled bags come in an assortment of colours making it easy to colour code your shopping e.g. red for toiletries, brown for bread etc.
As if that wasn't enough the outer bag also has a clear window for your shopping list, a trolley-token/Keyring and pockets for your phone, purse, store cards etc. All the bags are machine washable.
The interior nylon shopping bags can hold up to 13.7kg, which in shopping terms is the equivalent to 30 tin cans, meaning that there are easily enough bags to pack a weekly shop over £300.
Independently carbon assessed by Carbonsense.org the Trolley-Dolley has a footprint that is half that of its cotton equivalent and over 20 times less than using plastic bags!
If helping the planet wasn't reason enough to treat yourself and friends to a Trolley-Dolley, then how about getting rewarded for using it. Most of the large supermarkets now reward their customers for using re-usable bags, e.g. Tesco club card holders receive maximum Green Clubcard points for using their Trolley-Dolly for their weekly shop at Tesco.

This is a brilliant idea. It is especially useful since the law in Wales changed, so it costs 5p for every carrier bag in every shop!
I bought this as a birthday present for my student sister, so she doesn't have to spend money on bags every time she goes shopping - she loved it.
It's great for food shopping thanks to the colour coded and practical bags, but also good for shopping days when you don't quite know how many clothes you will be coming home with. All you need is to carry this one bag and you'll have plenty of bags to carry your shopping.
Great item. Would definitely reccomend!

The Trolley Dolly is fantastic! The concept is so clever (yet simple! Why Didn’t I think of it?!) There is a place for everything I need on a trip to the supermarket. I’ve been asked twice now by cashiers about the bag and what it is as its so eye-catching. It is such a lovely product to use I won’t be forgetting it. I definitely don’t have any excuse for not being eco-friendly anymore.
