The new range of Urban Firepits include a firebowl, protective bar, hinged cooking grill and spark guard. There is also a ventilation slot at the bottom of the Firepit. Not only does this provide air to keep the flame, but it acts as a 'waste disposal unit' as all of the ash and fat falls into the tray at the bottom. This stops any damage occurring to decks and patios.
The Urban Safety Firepit allows the experience of a real fire feeling on the deck or patio, providing atmospheric lighting and heat. It is constructed from stainless steel providing a durable and long lasting product.

I bought the urban safety firepit for use in France. Sofar I have not used the product but it seems to be adequate and no worse in build quality to many others on the market.
I have a criticism however about the description on the web site.
This fire pit is described as being made of cast iron and this is the reason I selected it over other versions from the same manufacturer.
You guessed it, it is spun steel just like many of the others.
OK it will be suitable for burning wood and other combustible material but I did want a more robust product.
